I seriously never tire of this orchard...or this family. I am so glad Jamie asks me to do this year after year. I love her family. Could her children's skin be any more perfect? It looks like velvet.

Marley and Ethan are Melissa and Scott's 2 little sweets. I've been talking their pictures for a long time now. I love to photograph them. Their eyes and their skin...they make me want to melt. 2 of the most beautiful kids I have ever known.

This delicious little thing is the 7th baby for my good friends Jon and Kristin. 7 kids! They are all so beautiful. Brandon is a little angel. Quiet, bright eyed, and perfect.

the thornton family.

Oh my goodness, I love this family. Dave and I met them about 14 years ago when we lived on Grandview Hill. I loved them immediately, and the more I got to know them, the more I admired. Mike and Jenny have great, great kids. I have often asked how they got SO good. Of course Jenny never has an answer. I want my children to be like hers. Katie is one of my kindred spirits. I was the Laurel advisor when she was 16-17. We had great times together. Great talks. We were friends before, and met up again when she was just a little girl. When I had the twins, the Thorntons, Sean and CJ included, took one of the babies every single sunday during church. It helped SO much, but more than that, it made me feel good. I loved that they loved my babies. They are just such GOOD people.
